Lindsay is an amazing woman. Through our time together, I have learned so much about her. It started with a phone consultation, but it finished in the middle of a pandemic and past lab closures.

Lindsay contacted me towards the end of 2019 for late Winter for an anniversary gift for her husband. I LOVE when women give something like this to their partners. It’s so unique and thoughtful. She let me know beforehand that she wanted to know what her garments would look like. In fact, she requested a fitting.

One Saturday, she came to my home (this was before I had The Studio). She tried on her looks, and loved them. Then, it was time for our session.

Our session was one of my favorite places, at the time, in the back of my neighborhood. Covington and all of south Louisiana isn’t the prettiest towards the end of Winter. Trees don’t look green and lively. They tend to look bare. The green takes on a dryness that can show on camera. That being said, winter or not, these were so lovely. Lindsay’s dark hair and alabaster skin truly took forefront and center. Honestly, the winter trees and grass highlighted her dainty features even more. She was incredible!

Every single client has the jitters beforehand. I have never met someone that didn’t. Heck, even I did during my self portrait series during quarantine! It’s something bout being vulnerable in front of a camera that truly can give your nerves a good quiver. You’d never know it by looking at Lindsay’s photos. She was full of life. She has this steady and strong allure that you can see connected with the camera the entire session. It’s always so amazing to see someone that is so dainty I features be such a powerhouse in front of the camera. It never grows tired.

Here are some highlights from Lindsay’s session. In case you are wondering, her hubby LOVED the gift.
